Salutari, numele meu este Gato, am 8 ani si incepand de astazi sunt noul PR al festivalului Short to the Point. Stiu, pare ciudat. Dar cred ca dupa 8 ani sunt cel mai in masura sa vorbesc despre acest festival. De cand m-am nascut am fost angajat la „Short to the Point”. Pe vremea aia i se zicea „Spune pe Scurt”. Am umblat prin toata lumea in toti anii astia. Sunt aproape celebru
Lucram ca logo la inceput. Ca si acum de altfel. Doar ca acum sunt mai mult decat un logo. Sunt imaginea festivalului. Apar pe afise, lauri, calupuri de filme ba chiar si in animatii video. Mai mult, la editia anuala, echipa organizatorica mi-a oferit un frumos cadou: mi-au ridicat o statuie. Sunt onorat!
Ok, dar hai ca ocazii o sa tot am sa povestesc despre mine. Festivalul Short to the Point este un eveniment lunar, deci voi reveni mai repede decat te astepti
Ziceam de statuie. Da, este vorba despre trofeul Short to the Point, acordat pentru cele mai bune filme din ultimul an. Se inscriu in acest concurs, filmele castigatoare in fiecare luna, incepand cu iulie 2016, pana in iunie 2017. Sunt 13 categorii de premii: Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Narrative Short, Best Student Short, Best Young Director, Best Documentary Short, Best Animation Short, Best Experimental Short, Best Amateur Short, Special Jury Award. Dupa un calcul simplu matematic, iti poti da seama ca sunt 12 filme care participa la fiecare categorie, pentru ca bineinteles, din iunie 2016 pana in iulie 2017 sunt 12 luni. Bine, iti poti da seama chiar din titlul evenimentului, Annual Awards Gala… Deci 12×13=156 de filme care intra in competitie pentru premiile anuale. Sunt aproximativ 40 de tari participante, sute de filmmakeri implicati in realizarea scurt metrajelor si mii de minute de film.
Din cauza ca nu avem la dispozitie mii de minute pentru proiectii, incercam sa multumim publicul cu cele 12 filme care vor concura pentru cel mai bun film. Asadar lista cu filmele care vor fi proiectate pe 10 Noiembrie de la ora 18:00 in cadrul galei o gasesti mai jos, in anexa.
